Based on the 1939 Agatha Christie mystery novel, this play takes place on a small island off the English coast. Ten men and women are lured by one Mr. Owen to spend a weekend on the island with him and his wife, but when the guests arrive they find out that their host won’t be joining them at all. Through a gramophone recording they all realise that their only thing in common is that they’ve been complicit during another person’s death, and somehow escaped justice. But they will soon pay for their doings. One by one they mysteriously die, all in ways accordingly with the old nursery rhyme, Ten Little Niggers. When they discover that they’re the only ones on the island, they realise that the killer must be one of them…
