This play expands over 16 years and begins with a confrontation between the world famous actress Esme Allen and her daughter Amy’s boyfriend Dominic. She despises the, from her point of view, synthetic film industry that he nurtures. He, on the other hand, finds her kind of theatre outdated and irrelevant. Meanwhile, Amy has got her completely own view on life and has faith in the fact that love solves everything. Eventually, Esme runs into a grim depression both professionally and personally. However, she gets to the other end with a much higher human insight and recognition that concurrently becomes a mental image of the power behind live theatre.
