This play consists of 8 one acts, two longer ones and 6 short sketches. They are played by four actors – as characters in their 30’ies and 40’ies – forming two couples, at least most of the time. In ALARMS, a married couple visits another couple and slowly they are confronted with the superiority of modern technology. The grotesque side of the play can easily resemblance both Kafka and Ionesco.
In DOUBLES, two married couples have checked into two identical rooms, only they are laterally reversed. There their trite lives, lacking of identity are played out against each other.
