Georgia Fitch’s debut play ADRENALIN…HEART is a fascinating story about love, dependence and abuse. In a series of short scenes we follow the beginning and the end of a fateful relationship between a single mother, Leigh, and a dealer, Angel. The play masterly shows an obsessing love with the same killing effect as the heroin Leigh so painfully succumbs to in her attempts to fill out the deep hole of her soul. The form resembles Abi Morgan’s at her best – a compressed dramaturgy with a sharp dialogue and passionate poetry.
