This is a great and dashing musical taking place in New York in 1933. The provincial theatre-frantic choirgirl, Peggy Sawyer gets her big break when the lead singer, Dorothy Brock, twists her ankle during the last rehearsals for ‘Pretty Lady’ on Broadway.
42nd Street offers a succession of amazing dance performances all beautifully choreographed and well paced.
