Simon Bent was educated as an actor at The University of Essex and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has written a number of plays. In 1996 he reached an artistic peak with GOLDHAWK ROAD. The play SUGAR SUGAR was staged at The Bush Theatre during 1998 and received outstanding reviews. THE ASSOCIATE and MEANY have both been produced at the Royal National Theatre during this season.
