SARAH SCHLESINGER (Lyrics and Co-bookwriter) co-wrote, with composer Mike Reid, the musical adaptation of THE BALLAD OF LITTLE JO, which opened to rave reviews at the Bridewell Theatre in London. The team also created DIFFERENT FIELDS, a contemporary opera about football commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera Guild and Opera Memphis. With co-bookwriter Jonathan Bernstein, they are the creators of the chamber musical, IN THIS HOUSE. They are also currently writing the score for CASANOVA RETURNS, based on the life of Casanova that was selected as one of the winners of the Global Search for New Musicals, 2006. Sarah has received the Kleban Award, the Richard Rodgers Award, a Gilman-Gonzalez Falla Theatre Foundation Award, and Chicago's Jeff Award for Best Original Musical.
