Nis emigrated from Ølgod to Copenhagen in 1986 to 20 years old. and he quickly became a sought-after singer for club and café jobs. In 1994 he made his debut as an actor in Dr. Dante's "Gasoline" which he starred in the two times it was played in Frederiksberg. And then there was for him from such Gasworks Theatre, The Danish Theatre, Nørrebro Teater, Odense Theatre and The New Family Theatre. Nis starred as Thor in the People's Theatre's "Valhalla" in 2013. But Nis' head is filled with ideas - and together with Lasse Schmidt wrote in 2003 theater concert "Mr. Nedersen" which was performed at Gasworks Theatre, and later headhunted to Odense Theatre, where it played under the name "Songs From the inside".
