Judy Upton’s work for theatre includes EVERLASTING ROSE (London New Play Festival), TEMPLE, THE GIRLZ (Richmond Orange Tree), PIG IN THE MIDDLE (Y Touring), CONFIDENCE (Birmingham Rep), THE BALLAD OF A THIN MAN (Channel Theatre Company) and HOTMAIL OG HELSINKI (Vienna English Theatre). Judy’s radio work includes ALIEN SISTER, TISSUE MEMORY and LONG TIME MAN (Radio 4). Her awards include The Open Stages Competition for TO BLUSHER WITH LOVE, The Verity Bargate Award for BRUISES and The George Devine Award for ASHES AND SAND. Her play SLIDING SUZANNE (Out of Joint), directed by Max Stafford-Clark, played at the Royal Court and toured the UK.
