Jesper Winge Leisner is known in Denmark from the great 80s pop attraction Rocazino. Since then, he has functioned as one of the most prolific composers and writers in Denmark. Today, Leisner is particularly interested in soundtracks and have written songs to several successful Danish films, he has brought film music onto the Danish charts. One particular soundtrack to Danish film DEN ENESTE ENE (The One and Only) broke all sale records in Denmark. Amongst other awards, Leisner has received Grammys, Roberts, more than 14 gold – and platinum records and noticeably has a top ten song on the British charts. Lately, Leisner has been nominated for a Robert Award for the song “When I’m Coming Home” from Susanne Bier’s success drama BRØDRE (Brothers).
