Christian Torpe is one of Danish film’s leading screenwriters. He had his breakthrough with the Bodil-winning active euthanasia drama “Stille Hjerte”, which Bille August directed, and the two continued their collaboration on the critically acclaimed “Pagten” about Karen Blixen. He has won several international awards for his TV series “Rita” and “Fred til lands” and he was the first Dane to be the showrunner of his own TV series in the USA (“The Mist”).
