Barrie Keeffe

After a brief career as an actor and journalist Barrie Keeffe (b. 1945) turned to full-time writing and directing in the theatre in 1975. His theatre plays include Only a Game, Gotcha, Abide with Me, My Girl, Bastard Angel, Sus, Frozen Assets, A Mad World My Masters, She’s so Modern, Better Times, Not Fade Away, King of England, Wild Justice and two trilogies: Gimme Shelter and Barbarians. He wrote the screenplay for the following films: The Long Good Friday, The Killing of Joelito, Dead Meet.
