Love Story is the musical adaptation of the popular American romantic novel, and the Oscar nominated film from 1970, staring Ryan O’Neal and Ali MacGraw in what became “the romantic film of all time”. The musical Love Story, with the fantastic and emotional touching music and beautiful songs, tells the story of two very different young people: Oliver Barrett IV studying law at Harvard and Jenny Cavilleri at the lower status university Radcliffe. He is rich, she is poor. He is at the hockey team, she playes music. But they fell in love. They have to pay a high price. His father, the very rich Oliver Barrett III – is absolutely not happy with his sons coming wife. “who is she”? “she is everything”! Jenny and Oliver moves into a small flat, his is now working as a lawyer, and she is giving piano lessons, and soon they are planning to have a baby…. But Jenny is very ill, and she dies of cancer at the age of 25.
