A troubled young couple, Elias and Jenny, is vacationing in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to try to restore their relationship. Late in the evening, they check into a B&B in a house dating back to the American Civil War, filled with kitsch, dolls and other old stuff – everything with a lively personality. The place is run by the friendly, Mertis, who always has a story to tell, often assisted by her blind and eccentric friend, Genevieve, who is being haunted by her late and violent ex-husband. The feeling of being watched lurks everywhere and without anyone noticing it, a spirit has reached out for one of the youngsters. A sublime ghost story with a chilling ending.
