“Every night on the news there’s literally always some sort of massively catastrophic end-of-the-world shiz going down: genocide, earthquake, terrorism, school shooting B- it’s endless, you know? And I always wonder how would I cope, if that happened to me?”
Six young people are trapped in the emotional aftermath of a terrorist attack, when the airplane BU21 has been shot down over London. They are all victims in one way or another, being eyewitnesses or relatives to the deceased, and now they all join a self-help group. Their stories reflect the entire spectrum of human emotions and are presented with a fair amount of gallows humour: One has learned the news of her mother’s passing through twitter; another was preparing a sandwich when a man suddenly fell down from the sky and into her garden, and now she has to figure out when will be the most respectful time to clean up the mess; a third’s father’s limbs have adorned this very garden…
The work contains six intertwined monologues that constitutes an original, modern material for a cast of young actors.
