Börje Nyberg

Börje Nyberg, born Nils Börje Emanuel Nyberg, (1920-2005), was a Swedish actor, director and playwright. In 1943 he entered the National School of Theatre in Göteborg, where after he started his carrier as a director at Åbo Svenska Teater, then at Wasa Svenska Teater og finally at Helsingborg Theatre. In the 1950’s he returned to Stockholm, where he worked at the city’s private theatres for instance Oscars, Vasan and Intiman. As an actor he participated in several of Gösta bernhard’s comedies and revues at the ABC-Theatre and Lisberg Theatre. As a writer he wrote the musical version of the play Brødrena Östermans huskors and the follower Bröderna ôstarmans glada änke.
