This story takes place at the pub, ‘The White Horse’ which is successfully run by the headwaiter Leopold. Though generally fortunate Leopold does not master romance as he is hopelessly in love with the landlady Josepha. Unfortunately she is too occupied with work to even notice him. Then when a new lot of tourists arrive at the pub along comes a line confusing complications and romances. Unexpectedly, the Emperor Franz Joseph arrives and seemingly provides for a happy ending.
