A good old-fashioned Christmas Eve where everything is like it’s always been: the family gets together and the fighting begins, as usual. The Christmas spirit increases when grandma suddenly is missing. Eventually she is found lying (and dying) underneath the dinner table and the festivities move to the hospital where the quarrels continue around her deathbed with redoubled savagery. But it’s not all grim: that most festive of things, an attempted suicide, finally brings everyone back together. What a Christmas!
