English text

Mamet’s political satire describes a day in the life of a severely tried American president. It’s November, in a year with election, and the incumbent Charles Smith hasn’t much chance of having a re-election. The popularity polls are low, he has almost run out of campaign money and a nuclear war seems to be close. Even though his staff members have given up and his wife has started to adjust to a life outside the White House, he hasn’t given up on re-winning his popularity. November is an entertaining comedy about USA and about how far people will go to win.
