In Kansas, little Dorothy Gale dreams of all the things that might hide on the other side of the rainbow. Then one day she is caught by a cyclone that blows her all the way there. Upon her arrival to the famous Land of Oz, she meets her first fairytale figure, Sorceress of the North, who informs her that only the great Wizard of Oz can bring her back to Kansas. With her three new friends the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Cowardly Lion, she embarks upon the journey towards Emerald City where the great wizard lives. However, the road is not completely without hindrances, as the wicked witch sets out traps and the jitter-buggers want to dance them into death. Nevertheless, they survive the threats, kill the witch and so to show his appreciation, the great wizard takes Dorothy back to Kansas.
