Reza’s new play is a triptycon; three versions of the same story are played by the same people and with the same plot, though with completely different psychological facets and consequences. A successful astrophysicist arrives at a dinner party hosted by a less successful astrophysicist and his wife; only it is 24 hours ahead of the original invitation. Throughout the play, it is never quite revealed which of the couples were wrong in the first place. Prior to the unexpected party, the host Henri has had an argument with his wife, Sonia based on the behaviour of their six years old son. Meanwhile, the other couple, Hubert and Ines were arguing en route because she had found a ladder in her tights and he would not stop the car, to let her buy a new pair. Evidently Hubert cannot stand his colleague Henri and so he tries to oppose him professionally. This ignites Sonia, which makes Hubert behave cynically towards his own wife, Ines. In the two following versions the characters change, subtitles appear and are made explicit. Then the reactions change into eroticism either as pleasure, power or revenge. The play has received great success all over Europe.
