The whole of Scandinavia is acquainted with the name Tordenskiold but only very few know of his short and tragic life.
So here is the story about his brief yet memorable career in the Danish/Norwegian navy and his relationship with Kristine who loved him dearly though without getting much in return. Due to his unconventional behaviour, Tordenskiold was a man of many enemies so consequently at the age of only 30 years he fell victim of a conspiracy and died in a duel in Hanover.
