This is a warm-hearted story about a bunch of children living with their slightly confused and highly beloved father, who is an author. We follow them to an island in the Swedish archipelagos where they rent an old decaying house, in which their everyday joys, sorrows, problems with the house and game playing unfold before us. One day a wealthy man who wants to buy their ‘haven’ arrives, but fortunately, everything comes to a happy ending.
