Orchestra crew: Piano, Violin & Cello
Charles lives with the weirdo Eva. Carlo lives with the teacher student Jane. Karl Göran is moving in with the young and innocent Julia. What the women do not know is they are all with the same man! Eva discovers the double play and invites Jane and Julia to her house on an island where she reveals the secret to them. Eva has a “Black Widow” spider – a female -, which she keeps in a terrarium. She lets in a male, and the women observe the mating, which of course ends as the female eats the male. This is when the revenge of the women is born. The first part – the impregnation – is successful for the women, but subsequently everything fails. The black comedy takes many twists and turns, and “The Black Widow” has an important part itself. The spider-female breaks out of the terrarium and gives birth to a number of live young, as venomous as herself… well-composed music and well-written songs. The small crew consisting of piano, violin and cello adds an intimate and dramatic mood.
