Valery, a telekinesis artist, is preparing for her last show before going to Harvard University where her gift will be analysed. A young male fan appears and she agrees to meet with him, even though her manager advises her to rest. Telling him things from her childhood, she is suddenly unsure of her powers. Her manager urges her to go on stage, but she has lost her ability.
