A sharp, provocative, humorous and explosive text, which investigates what, shapes women in the 21st century. The play is built up of a series of vignettes where socially constructed paradigms and ideas about sex, work and marriage are deconstructed and themes about gender and gender policy is under consideration: the balance of power between the sexes and women’s status in an (allegedly) post-feminist society. It is a wild and theatrical play with a very colourful dialogue and good parts for women. Alice Birch won The George Devine Award for most promising new Playwright 2014.
