The starting point of this play, is when a film based on violence, is awarded an Oscar. Influenced, two young people claim that this particular film encourages them to shoot people in random, without remorse. Consequently, they break into the director’s house and take both him and his female companion hostages in a most brutal manner.
And that is the beginning of a madness that cannot be described in words, but has to be endured.
Therefore, this play is highly topical, as it concerns the artist’s responsibility for the influence his work may have on his audience.
