orchestra crew: 5 man rock band
This is a story about happiness. We follow Peter, a gifted boy in the 9th grade who dreams about being a pop star and forms his first rock band. The play is about how you encounter and settle with the important things in life such as love, parents, school, career and temptation. Peter gets his first record deal with the Devil as a manager and the more successful he gets, the more he loses touch with reality. His beloved girlfriend My leaves him and he sedates his pain and loss with sex, booze and rock & roll. Peter does not come to his senses until he collapses during a TV-concert as a world famous star, and loses his best friend at the same time. He now realises what the real values in life are, he buries “Peter Nova” and the Devil loosens his grip. Happiness is soon to come.
