The play is about the Jewish rebel, Olga Benario, who in 1942 was murdered by the Nazis. In 1936, advanced in pregnancy, she was deported from Brazil to Germany. After 14 months her child was taken away from her and six months later, she was killed in the gas chamber. In a nightmarish way the play describes a historical destiny that gets deep under your skin: The claustrophobic time in the prison cell and the victim’s powerlessness against the violence and torture.
