The North London hospital of St. Christopher’s is normally run on well-oiled wheels, but this weekend, due to understaffing and a minor mistake, a remarkable chain of events is set in motion. Everyone finally gets treated – but not for what they came in for. A civil servant from The Ministry of Health arrives at the height of the confusion to check on the hospital’s viability. An extra pair of hands is just what’s needed and he soon finds he’s having better success with the patients than the staff is.
