Florist Seymour desires to get the ailing florist’s shop back on its feet, and dreams of becoming rich and famous. In an attempt to reach his goal, he buys a mysterious plant from an old Chinese man, and names it after his girlfriend Audrey. The plant turns out to be a talkative and blood thirsty meat eater with growing pains and a healthy appetite for especially human flesh. Seymor is forced to hunt after costumers to feed the hungry plant. The victims are bunch of relatively unusual people. This wonderful musical-comedy premiered in 1982 off –Broadway and is based on the legendary American film from 1960.
