It is an intense chamber play about two passionate and impatient people who are caught up in the patterns and detours of a relationship. Apparently it is a question of quite normal persons. A woman and a man: nice, civilized, decent citizens who are confronted with five basic situations which are found in any relationship; meeting, waiting, betrayal, loneliness and termination. Among other situations we meet the pregnant woman whose husband leaves her; the betrayed man who accepts the let down by his lover; the man who refuses to accept the woman’s death, and the two lovers who meet in a dance. Is it possible that normality can accommodate all that of which life is also made up; desire, hatred, love, sorrow …? The Reumert Award for Best Danish Play 2010.
