According to Elfriede Jelinek, one only needs to go to the Alps to find hell. In this play, which was most successfully staged in Munich by Christoph Marthaler, victims from the fatal fire in the Kitzsteinhorngletscherbahn tunnel meet at an after-ski party. As living dead they gather in a lounge decorated with antlers, while waiting to leave the freezing in-between and touristy ski resort forever.
