I’LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT!

Recently, Jan has suffered a nervous breakdown and her husband Greg, the archaeologist, has rented an old house in the country in which she can heal herself. The house is also located near an archaeological dig, where he continues his studies. When George, the cheery farmer of whom they are renting the house, tells them about a horrible murder which took place in the house and about a ghost that scurries around in the night, Jan’s imagination is severely reinforced. The situation is worsened when Laura, Greg’s beautiful but manipulating sister, arrives. Shortly after, Jan is haunted by strange sounds and by viewing the vindictive ghost at night. Is she having another nervous breakdown? Is someone trying to drive her insane? As she attempts to defend herself against the ghost, the plot is given an unexpected slant.
