”Gerda Larsen? Social-welfare recipient until the day you became a disability pensioner. You are an alcoholic smoker and you have lived your unemployed life on a bench. You have made yourself ill and the government has spent millions on you. It ends now!” The little country is in a poor condition and in order to secure the survival and growth of the nation the government has decided to eliminate the ones who have received more from the government than they have given. Pensioners, the disabled and people on social welfare are detained by large numbers. John, Gerda, Nancy, China and Melanie are close to elimination. This play is a thought-provoking and delightfully politically incorrect satire and is about the welfare system, the citizen and the state. The film version premiered in 2007. The play premiered at Aarhus Teater in September 2007.
