This is a one act play in which the theatrical language is challenged with the unusual precision of Churchill. A daughter who has immigrated to Australia is coming home and the nervous family eagerly awaits her return. The tension becomes absurd as the characters repeatedly test all possible as well as impossible scenarios. The variations are comical, brutal and sometimes completely absurd. The play premiered with the one act play BLUE KETTLE with the title BLUE HEART; however, they can be performed separately.
