The summer holidays have just started and there’s not much to do in the little, sleepy town. Hence the kids make tomfoolery: They let the farmer’s gigs out of the pigsty, climb up on the roof of the hot dog stand and let the air out of the mechanic's cars. It’s really funny. If it hadn’t been for Freddy Frogsnatcher. He’s called that because he once ate a living frog. Freddy has small yellow eyes and long, thin fingers which he uses to tear out locks of hair form the heads of the children and pint them in the eyes with. A wonderful stage adaptation of Ole Lund Kirkegaard's beloved classic.
