A vital one act play offering food for thought. Franca Rame and Dario Fo have written a comic-grotesque pearl about a middle-aged woman, Mattea who has been left by her husband. Suffering from melancholy her eating has gone out of control resulting in an unavoidable weight increase. The four parts of the play offer real challenges. The play which lasts one hour can be played on its own or together with another work by Dario Fo and Franca Rame.
