This comedy is based on Florence Foster Jenkin’s life, the legendary filthy rich New Yorker whose only wish was to be a big opera diva even though she had no talent at all – an eccentric who used all her money, charm and unstoppable willpower on getting her big break. Mrs. Jenkins is auditioning with the pianist Cosme McMoon in the big luxury flat she is sharing with her partner, actor St. Clair. Her Mexican maid who does not speak English enters. And along with the madam’s dense acquaintance Dorothy, we observe a group of mad persons and their attempts to reach fame.
