Mrs. Schmitz is a highly transformable being: The timid employee can be a man who brutally negotiates the interests of a global company in Pakistan. Everybody is interested in finding out who or what she is (even more than she herself is): Is she a man who was born in the wrong body? Or a woman posing as a man?
