This stage play is set in a radio drama studio in 1950 and deals with the activities of
the staff of a radio drama department. Initially we seem to be watching these
executives acting in a radio play, the play of their own office lives in front of us. In this
way the two chief components of making radio drama - the office politics and the
actual recording in the studio become one.
