The captive Aesop must go to almighty Zeus to gain his liberty, learning from the animals as he goes. Aesop sets out on his long journey and finds that, as he observes the creatures he meets and learns from their example, the links in his chains gradually drop off. Once free, he passes on to other men the lessons he has learnt in the form of fables. (Doubling of roles possible)
