The text is about an unhappy woman who goes to see the great author D.H. Lawrence (one of William’s favourites) in the French Alps. She wants his help in order to overcome a passionate meeting which has become an obsession. Wildly ecstatic, the lovesick woman decides to return to San Francisco and to Adam.
