Jesper Hyldegaard studied literature at the University of Odense and later trained as an actor. He now lives in Copenhagen and works as a writer, director, composer and actor. Jesper Hyldegaard was one of the founding members of the hugely sucessful Dr. Dante Theatre Company, which started as a fringe company in 1979 in Denmark and quickly gained reputation for innovative, sometimes outrageous, work.
