Eirik Fauske (b. 1982) is regarded as one of Norway's most original young playwrights and his writings occupy the point of intersection between the personal, the political, the documentary and the poetic. He has written and produced several works for the stage, including Gullalðurir (The Golden Age) from 2009, Under barnehagen (Beneath the Kindergarten) from 2010, Lindås from 2012/2013, and Krig og fred (War and Peace) from 2013. He was also co-author of Bibelen (The Bible) at the Norwegian Theatre (2013) and during the period 2013-2015 has been engaged as playwright in residence at the Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting in Oslo.
