Astrid Trotzig, Swedish author and playwright born 1970, had her debut in 1996 with the sensational autobiographical work ‘Blod är tjockare än vatten’. In 2001 she came out with the novel ‘Ibland undrar jag om jag minns rätt’, which together with ‘Främmande i detta land’ (2003) loosely form a trilogy. Among other things, Trotzig has worked as editor for BLM, Bonniers Litterära Magasin as well as for 90TAL and is currently working a judge for the Nordic Council’s Literary Price. She has received several grants from among others, Albert Bonniers Publishing, the Swedish Academy and the Estate of Fredriks Ström.
