Veteran, workman and foul-mouthed Barry Carson is recovering after a surgery in his knee when Quaker Louise Meriwheather suddenly appears. She’s been hired by Carson’s hated nephew to take care of him until he’s fully recovered. Barry asks her to piss off, which she does in a state of shock. Later he regrets his behavior and turns up at a poetry reading, she’s attending. This is the beginning of an odd and beautiful friendship and, perhaps, a salvation for the both of them…
A humorous and moving two-hander for a mature cast.
