Danish original text

The German philosopher and eternal pessimist Arthur Schopenhauer left a manuscript upon his death. It turned out to be some sort of a self-help book – a self-help book that might as well have been written by the donkey from Winnie-the-Pooh! One should not expect to learn how to optimise one’s mindset nor to find any new and truly unique potentials. The key to happiness simply is to live the least unhappy – or in short: living a tolerable life.

A very funny play based on thoughts from a very dark place.
