Award-winning French comedy hit about Edmond Rostand and how he wrote CYRANO DE BERGERAC (1897). Rostand suffers from a writer’s block and is desperately trying to find inspiration for his next play, but when he helps a friend writing romantic letters to a lady, he has found the central theme of the work. The action takes place in Paris and centers around the Comédie-Française and some of the big names of the time including Sarah Bernhardt and Georges Feydeau. A playful and fast paced romantic comedy with good parts. 2016 Winner of 5 Molières Awards. A film version was made in 2019.
