Thriller based on real-life events about a group of refugees fleeing Nazi Germany. The minute the anchor is dropped off the coast of Cuba, the refugees become victims of an international diplomatic game between the Cuban, the American and the Canadian authorities. Nobody will accept them and the refugee ship is forced to return to Europe and an uncertain fate.
